Strategic planning in the university sector has gained increasing importance in recent years – all government funding now requires a close connection between the bid and the strategic plan of the university. DCU has been very successful in recent HEA and SFI bids as the DCU Strategy is closely linked to component strategies (Research, Learning Innovation, Civic Engagement) and it underpinned with faculty, school, unit and centre planning.
