A Message from the President
On behalf of Dublin City University, its staff and its students, I would like to welcome you to the university's web site.
Like other universities, DCU is a place of learning, in which all members of the campus community, staff and students alike, develop knowledge and acquire skills. But in a rapidly changing world, not all universities are the same, and there is an increasing diversity of mission. DCU's focus is unique in Ireland: it sets out to develop high quality, high value learning within the wider setting of Ireland's economic and social needs. It ensures that students gain direct experience of industry and other workplaces, and it offers the very latest technology and facilities to ensure that all are equipped to become leaders in their chosen fields.
About the President's office
A team that performs administrative, scheduling, advising, policy, business, marketing and communication functions supports the DCU President's Office. In addition, the Strategic Planning and Institutional Research functions are attached to the President's Office.
The President's Office is committed to a providing a high level of service quality to both internal and external stakeholders.

The President's Office is located on the first floor of the Albert College Building, which can be accessed via the Ballymun Road entrance.
